Jägermeister, or “Jgr” to the majority of the cannabis world, is an indica dominant hybrid (80 percent indica/20 percent sativa) strain named after the infamous adult beverage with conflicting origins. Many people believe it is a Hindu Kush descendant because of its effects and fragrance, but others feel it is a Southern Oregon descendant because of its appearance. Jager is a pleasant and effective smoke, regardless of its genetics, with THC levels reaching up to 23%. This bud has a sweet earthy licorice aroma and a taste of woody lemon pine with a hint of rich licorice on exhale that turns very sweet at times, much like the real Jager. These flowers have Long, tapering forest green nugs with deep purple overtones, blazing orange hairs, and a thin covering of delicate transparent crystal trichomes. This high is characterized by full-bodied indica effects that gradually build up until crashing down on you like a few too many drinks. You’ll feel utterly comfortable in both mind and body, with a proclivity for introspection and spaceiness. In this state, you won’t be utterly drugged; rather, you’ll be blissfully unaware. Jager is commonly used to treat chronic pain, inflammation, tremors, and muscular spasms because of these properties.
